Requesting GitHub Copilot access
Note: This is currently only available to Civil Servants
To gain access to GitHub Copilot you will need to create a pull request against the opg-org-infra repository adding you to the opg-copilot-users team with the following commit message.
Allocate <your name> a GitHub Copilot licence
In requesting a GitHub Copilot licence, I acknowledge my responsibility to personally understand the full functionality of any AI-assisted code I submit for peer review, and that it meets the same high standards and conventions of Justice Digital and OPG Digital.
Step by step instructions
This assumes you are already familiar with git, have created an appropriate branch, and are present in the users.tf. If you are not already in the users.tf then consult the relevant guide for being added to the organisation.
- Find yourself in the users.tf
- Add
module.gh_team_copilot_users.idto your github_teams array
